What artwork did you create?
1. Fun Reimagined Logo
2. Seven Meadows: A Tableau-Building Strategy Card Game

What was your inspiration for creating the logo?
I was told to make something that was very clear, but had an element of fun to it. I kept the font simple but played around with the size and proportions of the letters to make it a bit funkier, and I consider stars to be a bit of a trademark of mine, so including them jumping out from the center as a cartoon-y touch felt very natural to me!

What was your inspiration for creating the artwork for Seven Meadows?
When we decided on a flower theme for the deck, I wanted the designs to be graceful and flow around the card while still being versatile enough to translate between suits without much tweaking. I took inspiration for the poses from posing dolls, the designs on the face cards in a standard deck of cards, and dance moves, and shaped the costumes to frame the figures and integrate with the decorative elements that linked the two halves together. The inspiration for the design language came from the flowers and what came to mind when I thought of them: fabric blowing in the wind for forget-me-nots and violets, sunshine and graffiti for dandelions, water and ponds for lilies, and sharp, pointy slashes for spider lilies.

Why did you want to become an artist?
I think art is amazing! It has the power to bring our imaginations into reality, to inspire, to frighten, or even do nothing at all! I couldn’t imagine not being an artist; it’s a part of me like my hand is a part of my body and occupies my mind constantly. My dream is to connect with others through my art, and become an inspiration for them the same way my favorite artists have been for me.

What artwork did you create?
T RUN: The Ultimate Fun and Strategy Card Game

What was your inspiration for creating the artwork for T RUN?

I was inspired by my early life. I lived in Ivory Coast and was always fascinated by its wildlife. That’s why I chose to draw different animals you can find in the west central areas of Africa.

Why did you want to become an artist?
When I was a kid, I was always drawing. My school books were always filled with doodles. Most of my friends would come up to me for drawings, and I eventually started making tattoo designs. I decided to become an artist so I wouldn’t have to work a day in my life. It comes in so naturally that I enjoy every second I’m creating something.
